Houses of Worship - Sound/Audio
Wireless Microphones
From Handheld, Clip-on Lavaliere, or nearly invisible headsets, Horizon can provide you with anything from an economical single channel UHF to a multichannel Wireless System Solution. Today’s wirelesses have changed greatly over the last couple of years incorporating multiple frequency selection, automatic frequency scanning, multi-stage battery life indication, and software control. We can help you make the right investment in your wireless microphone needs.
Hearing Impaired
With current requirements of the ADA codes, Wireless Hearing Assistant products are becoming invaluable to the hearing impaired members of your congregation. Whether the problem is overcoming background noise or poor building acoustics, these individual listening devices make sure that all members can hear every detail of your worship service.
Ear Monitoring
It’s impossible to sound your best if you can’t hear what’s going on around you. Personal In-Ear wired and wireless systems are great alternatives to typical on stage monitors. The most common complaint from House of Worship sound engineers is that the stage volume from guitar amps and monitors are louder than the house PA system. Horizon can design a system based on your needs including personal multi-channel monitor mixing systems.
Loudspeakers
Proper loudspeaker selection and placement are the final and most critical stage of a House of Worship sound system. Horizon has the experience to design and select the proper speaker(s) for your installation from ceiling speakers, in-wall speakers, speaker clusters, to line arrays.
Mixing Consoles
As Houses of Worship expand into larger choirs or contemporary worship bands, the amount of microphones, instruments, and audio feeds also increase. Horizon has the expertise to plan for your future using mixing consoles such as a simple multichannel automated mixer or 8-64 channel analog consoles. If your House of Worship requires constant changes in sound system setup, Horizon employees specialize in the operation and training of many of today’s digital mixing consoles which include automated faders, dynamics processors on every channel, built in EQ, complex matrix and input patching, and even built in effects processors.
Control Systems
It can be difficult for a volunteer staff to understand the complexity of a large A/V installation. Control Systems allow ease of use by combining many functions on a simple control panel. Horizon can simplify your A/V systems utilizing simple push button keypads or even multipage touch panel screens. These systems operate projectors, screens, audio mixing controls, media transport functions, lighting, and even window shades all with the simple press of a button.
Duplication/Recording
Many Houses of Worship may simply want to archive their weekly sermons, while others may make recorded copies of their services on CD or DVD for distribution to the congregation or shut-ins. An ever growing number of pastors even have their sermon streamed online or available as Pod-Casts. Whatever your media, Horizon has the product to help you make a professional sounding recording deliverable on all of today’s popular media formats.
